More new Muziekpaleis Workshops are planned at the moment. A network of schools for special education have teamed up to make 27 workshops possible in the upcoming 6 months. SRADA/MIGRADA telecomsystem (Migrant Info Line)

The political party PVV has recently introduced the reporting point for Eastern European migrants. As you probably know, this has caused a lot of commotion in the Netherlands. I recently was contacted by Sonja Driessen from SRADA/MIGRADA. MIGRADA is an association for labour migrants. Their objective is: “To structurally improve the situation of migrant workers in Netherlands”. This is a goal that I wholeheartedly support.

Recenly a new telecom system (Migrant Info Line) was introduced to support labour migrants. The info line is an information system in 9 languages. The system provides Information by category and forwarding with virtually all organizations and governments that for the migrant is interesting/necessary.

I’ve currently recorded the languages Rumanian, Hungarian, Polish & English. The system will be completed in the upcoming 2 weeks. Afterwards it will be updated on a regular basis. Check www.migrada.nl for more info.

Amsterdam Bijlmer Muziekpaleis Project

After 6 months of preparation, the time has finally come ! I will be involved in a mega music project in the Amsterdam Bijlmer. Together with Bijlmer Style, Swazoom & Dappere Dodos. A total of 32 youngster will battle at the ‘Muziekpaleis Bijlmer Edition’ !

On april 1st a mega audition will be held ( similar to’The Voice’ ). Together with 4 music coaches ( o.a. Dret & Krulle ), I will be in the jury selecting 32 youngster out of hundreds of young music talents. After the selection procedure, 4 different groups of 8 participants ( and 1 coach each ), will create their own lyrics, beat and melody. This proces takes approx 2 months, where all groups will be coached by myself & other professionals. We offer them educational workshops ( stage presentation, respect, anti-racism, writing lyrics ). Finally all groups deliver their rough musical mix, which will be mixed & mastered by Zero To Midnight.

The project will end in August, where all pupils will perform LIVE at the Bijlmer festival. The winner will get the opportunity to record their own professional Muziekpaleis video !

Another new Muziekpaleis / Music Palace workshop will be held in Rotterdam ! After the Schreuder College, it’s now time for the Valentijnschool. This project starts februari 10th and ends March 23th.

Muziekpaleis workshop BSO de Bikkels

New multi-day workshop in Haarlem at BSO de Bikkels. I will once again create a music video ( together with RicardoTOX ) and a song with a group of youngsters. This time at a BSO. Looking forward to this project in Haarlem. Lets make another great song and video together !
